MET-Rx Calender Shoot

January 28, 2009 in Modelling, Shoots

I was selected by MET-Rx to take part in their new calender shoot.  They are looking for the new female face for their line of products, and are running a competition where they select twelve models, and then one of the twelve girls become the face of Met-Rx.

Prior to the shoot, I did some research and checked out the American calender which was very sexy and glamorous – but I was determined to do a great job!

On the day of the shoot I arrived early as I was the first to shoot. I met the photographer who was an experienced fitness photographer, having photographed Nell McAndrew throughout her successful career as a fitness model and presenter.

The set up was very simple, a white/grey backdrop, me, a bikini and a carton of protein! I was asked to adjust my poses for a fitness angle, taking into account my muscle definition and athleticism. The shoot went incredibly quickly and smoothly, and the last set of photos were taken in my fitness clothes.

I managed to have a quick sneak of the pictures on the photographers laptop, and I was really excited to see how they were looking pre-post. My muscles were very defined, and I was over the moon!

I’ve been sent a copy of the calender now, and it looks fabulous! I’ve posted some of my favourite pictures in this post so you can get to see my amusement at having to pose with plastic! Enjoy!
